Eagle 300T
The Eagle 300T is RotorWay’s prototype program for a certified production two-place turbine engined helicopter. The Eagle 300T will be powered by the Rolls Royce 300-B1 engine, a derivative of the RR300 engine that has been certified for installation in other light helicopters. The Rolls Royce 300-B1 version of the engine has been designed and certified specifically for the Eagle 300T.
A date for completion of the Eagle 300T development and certification program has not been set, as RotorWay maintains primary focus on its customers in the kit-built experimental helicopter market with the A600 Talon. However, the Eagle 300T program will bring many benefits for kit-built RotorWay customers, as the goal of production certification is driving significant improvements in production process control, quality and safety levels for RotorWay’s established kit helicopter, the A600 Talon.
