Week 4 |

Monday
morning with the doors ready to separate from the frames.

Just separated a
perfect match to the perspex panel.
|

This
is the best bit, fill the door frame and finish the inside edge
before bonding back to the Perspex.
|

Time to think about
paint lines. Put the inside line on and mask it up. Sand the
bonding surface.
|
|
|
|

Here we have all
the rivets installed and no cracks! 100% bonded to the frame.
Put a few Q Cells in the resin to fill the tape join lines.
|

Here we are at the
end of week four and the progress has slowed we took a couple
of days off...
|

Pedals
all in place and spacers are cut ready for powder coating.

Cyclic installed.

All the parts for
chrome plating.

5
|

The key is to drill
3/32 holes and use a band saw.
|

Week five Lawrence
and I got heaps done.
|

External oil tank
vent with Lycoming dip stick fitted and quik drain oil bung
fitted at this stage.
